ALARM CLOCK APP FOR WINDOWS 10 PLUS
Timers can be created and named by clicking the plus button at the bottom, like alarms however, there is no way to edit a timer. Users who would simply like a window with an easily visible clock can type timedate.cpl in the Run dialog box ( ⊞ Win+ R).
When the map is minimized horizontally, the times are shown in a vertical list below the map instead of on it. It is also possible to compare what nonlocal times will be at a specified local time. When other times are displayed, the World Clock feature calculates how far ahead or behind the other times are from the user's local time. Users can search for additional locations to show on the map. The world clock list detects the user's location and shows the local time on the user's location on a world map.
ALARM CLOCK APP FOR WINDOWS 10 WINDOWS 10
Prior to the Windows 10 Creators Update, Alarms & Clock was the only app that could make an alarm notification appear during quiet hours, but third-party alarms running on Windows 10 version 1704 or later also ring during quiet hours by default.
ALARM CLOCK APP FOR WINDOWS 10 PC
In order for an alarm to ring on a PC that is off, InstantGo must be included in the device. Due to hardware limitations, alarms cannot always appear on certain devices that are powered off. The current list of sounds in the order listed is Chimes, Xylophone, Chords, Tap, Jingle, Transition, Descending, Bounce, Echo, and Ascending.Īlarms are triggered by a special type of toast notification for alarms. It is possible to change the time, name, recurrence by day of the week, sound, and snooze time. It is possible to delete a selection of alarms simultaneously by clicking on the list button and using the control key with or without the shift key to select alarms.Īlarms can be created by clicking the plus button and edited by clicking or tapping on them. You can duplicate the clock on taskbars if you have a multi-monitor set up.The alarms are listed vertically by the time of day and can be activated or deactivated with an ovular on/off switch. It’s not a huge resource hog and the bold face makes it stand out from the other plain Windows 10 style icons that live in the system tray. If you find the clock is too small to easily read, this app is great.
It’s more functional but far less aesthetically pleasing. If you need to view more days/dates then the app’s calendar is a good option. The default calendar is a far better fit. The calendar can be customized but it’s not a good fit for the Windows 10 UI. If you want to enable the app’s calendar, go to the Miscellaneous tab and select the Use T-Clock’s Calendar option. T-Clock also supports keyboard shortcuts in case you want to access its other features such as the timer, the calendar, or the stop watch. The right-click context menu options also give you quick access to other settings panels such as the Personalization settings on Windows 10, the Sound properties, the date and time settings, etc. To recall the app’s settings, right-click the clock and select T-Clock Options. If you ever feel like returning to the default look, right-click the clock and quit the app. Once you’re done customizing everything, you can close the app. There’s also a Time Format tab which offers more options than Windows 10 does by default. More importantly, you can change the color of the text and even add a background color to it if you want. You can change the font, the size, apply bold or italic styles, increase line spacing, change its size and position, etc. Run the app and go to the Clock Text tab if you’re only interested in customizing the system tray clock. T-Clock also adds a calendar and lets you set alarms, and timers, but if that’s not something you’re interested in, you never have to be bothered with the feature. T-Clock is a free, open-source app that lets you customize the system tray clock.
